GUITAR, VOCALS, HARMONICA

A SLO County local with a background in rock, jazz,  and musical theatre, playing venues like Seven Sisters Brewery, Linnea's Cafe, Morro Bay Wine Seller, Morro Bay Maritime Museum and Cal Poly Arts.  She studied the Beatles  and Grateful Dead at UC Santa Cruz, was a guest on KBCZ’s “Nothing is Beatleproof",  and hand made a replica of George's Sgt. Pepper uniform for Halloween!

Favorite Beetle:  Leaf Weevil (Polydrusus impressifrons)

Presley (she/her)

BASS, VOCALS

Beatlemania never died…it is alive and well and living in SLO. Presley is a local bass musician with  a background in musical theatre. This is her first band and she is absolutely thrilled to be playing McCartney in a Beatle’s coverband. She  has extensive knowledge on all things Beatle and is essentially a local Beatles historian. She hopes to share the Beatles' energy of peace and love through their music, and she can’t wait to meet the Beatle loving  community in SLO.

Matilda (they/she)

DRUMS, VOCALS

 With only the professional experience of percussion being her 7th grade band class, Matilda is delighted to get on a kit to enrich her drumming experience in respect to  Mr. Peace and Love himself! The tracks of Please Please Me were a childhood classic. She found herself learning how to harmonize singing along in the back of her fathers truck. Her musicality  derives from years of piano lessons in her youth, experience in choir from grade school to Cuestas Voce and Chamber Choir, as well as a constant enthusiasm in the “dabbling” of instruments.

Lead guitarist and supporting vocalist for the Apple Scruffs, Blaine brings Harrison’s tuneful melodies to life while playing these iconic Beatles songs. Dedicated to doing him justice, Blaine grows a little bit more each time she plays. As a vocalist, she’s excited to sing in harmony with a little help from her friends. With background experience in K-12 and college choir, her vocals can be described as rich, soft, and clear, and loves blending smooth tones wherever she can. She’s inspired by her bandmates, her friends, and her family, and lets the love lead the way.
